Here on Terminus, items and equipment are valuable spoils that can change the outcome of a battle, advance a character in mysterious ways, or even save somebody's life. While a select few items are available for sale in the MARKET, most are earned through completing quests, events, and progressing through role-play. At rare times, items can even appear as random encounters in normal threads.

It is important to note that equipment is one of the only ways one can better themselves in combat. Weapons provide an attacking bonus, while armor provides a defensive bonus. A character can only equip one weapon at a time, and one piece of armor at a time. Equipping new items can generally be done on the fly, just ensure that you use reason when changing equipment in the middle of battle.
